Elephant Toy to Make

A fun DIY kids craft project to make moveable jungle or zoo animals for creative play.

This kids activity project for kids can be completed in about 15 minutes.  Make a whole herd of colorful zoo or jungle animals to play with, including a zebra and giraffe.  Add stands so animals can be moved around in play and stand where the child places them.  Easy DIY craft project for kids.

Items needed: 

  • Foam Sheets, 1/4 in.
  • Foam Sheets, thin
  • Scissors
  • Black marker

 

Instructions: 

  1. Print templates for Elephant and cut out.
  2. Trace body onto thick foam and cut out.
  3. Trace ears and stands on thin foam sheet and cut out.
  4. Make slits in body of Elephant for ears and stands.
  5. Instert ears and stands.
