Fun Stick Art to Make with Nature Materials and Art Supplies

This fun activity involves getting kids outdoors to collect little twigs and other treasures. Combined with simple art supplies kids can then create a Nature masterpiece.

Items needed: 

  • Small Twigs & other Nature materials
  • Paper
  • Crayons
  • White craft glue

Instructions: 

  1. Collect twigs and put into a container on the table or picnic bench.
  2. Give each child a piece of paper and some crayons.  They can color the entire page or make an animal or geometric shape - whatever they want.
  3. Let them add pieces of twigs and small pine cones, etc. to their artwork, attaching with glue.  Let dry.
