Giraffe Mask to Make for Halloween or Just for Play

Easy mask to make for a kids's Halloween costume or just for pretend play anytime of the year.

Items needed: 

  • Thin sheets of foam, gold and brown colors
  • Scissors
  • Non-toxic craft glue
  • Elastic string

Instructions: 

  1. Print pattern and instructions.
  2. Cut out main pattern for giraffe head and then trace this onto the gold color foam sheet.  Include the knobs at the top of the horns.
  3. Cut out brown spots and knobs for horns. 
  4. Glue spots and knobs onto mask.
  5. Make a small hole on either side of the mask for the elastic band.
  6. Position mask on child\'s face to estimate length of elastic, adding an extra 4 inches to this length.
  7. Cut elastic and insert into holes on mask.  Tie securely, cutting off any excess elastic.
  8. Now your little giraffe is ready to play!
