Easter Blondies with Malted Milk Balls


Easter Malted Milk Ball Blondies

These Easter Malted Milk Ball Blondie Brownies were created because we wanted to make a sweet treat that brought to mind easter eggs, and Spring.  We tried adding malted milk balls into a blondie brownie recipe and well let's just say they are rich, decadent and ooey-gooey blondie goodness.

To make these Blondies:


2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup white chocolate chips
3/4 c flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

1 bag malted milk balls (optional- chopped in half)

To make:

In a bowl mix eggs, vanilla and brown sugar together.  in another bowl, melt the butter and white chocolate chips in the microwave and stir together.  Once butter and chocolate mixture are cooled combine with the eggs mixture.  In another bowl mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt together.
Then add the flour mixture to the egg mixture. 

Pour mix into a greased 8x8 pan  and put malt balls into the top of the mix (spread out) and bake at 350 for approximately 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Once the blondies come out of the oven wait a few minutes but while the blondies are still warm add additional malt balls to the top of the blondies by gently pushing the malt balls (whole or halves) into the blondies, as the other malt balls will not be visible once the blondies bake and rise.

Wait until the blondie brownies are cool and cut into squares and enjoy!
