Explore Your World- Ways and Activities to Get Kids to Explore their World!
At Ziggity Zoom we have lots of activities, games, coloring pages, fitness and searching games and educational worksheets that will help your kids explore the world around them. We want kids to build a love for learning, observing, experimenting and asking questions and seeking answers. We want to help parents and teachers to get kids excited about science, nature, creatures, math, and how things work. Explore Your World- Fieldtrip Idea
Go on a Nature Walk with your Kids. Get your kids outdoors, while getting a little exercise. Nature Walks allow your kids to get out and explore the world around them. They can find interesting rocks, treasurs and see lots of wild life. Even very little kids will enjoy being free to run and explore.
Most areas have a nearby State or National Park you can go to to walk the trails and explore. The whole family will have fun, it will give you a great place to take pictures, and your kids will remember the experience for years to come! Make it a yearly family tradition.

Explore the Outdoors Activity
Go to a nearby Zoo. A zoo allows children to see many animals from around the world, and gives them an opportunity to learn aout the animals, teach them a few facts or find out which animals they liked the most and why.

Go outside and to Search for Creatures big and small. Look for bugs, turtles, frogs or look for birds to identify and watch.

Go to a nearby Park or Destination and let your kids run, play or bring a kite to fly or other outdoor game. or bring along our Look & Find Park Activity Sheet.

Do an Outdoor Craft or Art Project-make a Pine Cone Bird Feeder or Leaf Rubbings or Rock Buddies. Being the supplies outside, find the needed items and make the crafts outdoors. It is like bringing Summer camp crafts to your own backyard.

Go to a Children's Museum. Kids love to get involved and see how things work, and children's museums are set up to let kids do just that.

Go to a nearby Playground and let your kids run, and play on the playground equipments and slides. Pack sandwiches and make a day of it.

A few other Ideas that are great for Spring and Summer to Get Outdoors with your kids are:

Play a Sport with them- Basketball, Soccer, T-Ball, Tennis, or another outdoor game.

Let Your Kids have an Outdoor Concert- bring out plastic instruments or fill a few plastic bottles with beans and seal the bottles- let them shake, roll and bang them for you.

Play Hopscotch or Leap Frog or have a Scavenger Hunt.
