Right. The idea basically is not to make our kids misers....because when we only focus on savings savings...then they'll think that Money is only to be saved heavily and very rarely spent. We need to teach them a perfect and a very delicate balance between saving and spending. We've to make sure that when they spend, they spend it right and for a good cause like donating etc, this would also instill kindness for others and how to share what we have with those who are needy.
