Did you know that December and January are big months for starting to homeschool? Of course, the biggest surge of new homeschoolers usually falls in August or September. This is a natural time for beginning because it aligns with the traditional start of the school year, and gives parents an opportunity to feel as though they are keeping in line with public or private school students.
I have 3 boys. 2 of them are in elementary school. I am a member of the PTA and a chairperson for our school. I have lots of teacher appreciate ideas I will post this week but here are a few notes and drawings my son gave to his teacher I thought you might like.
The hustle and bustle of the holidays are here. For many of us the frenzy has begun- decorating, shopping, wrapping, holiday parties, school parties, baking, and overly excited children. It can make for a stressful time of year. I love the holidays and everything that comes with it- the Christmas music, decorations, holiday treats, family time, and special memories.
I am always trying to fit in more fruits and vegetables to my kids diet. In their lunches I often put the fruit cups that do not have added sugar or apple sauce cups (the natural ones without corn syrup or sugar or anything else added).
